Our Process

How Do Your Legs Feel & Look Right Now?

Do they hurt? Swell or get sock lines? Are there unwelcome spider veins or varicose veins? Maybe they get tired by the end of the day or cramp at night?

Imagine what life would be like if you didn’t have to live with these problems.

Let’s eliminate pain & embarrassment in your legs by following our 3 step process below.

STEP 1: Consultation

There is nothing worse than seeing a doctor who doesn’t listen, is dry, is rude, or is in too much of a hurry. At El Paso Vein Doc, you will be listened to and encounter a friendly staff that will make sure you get the best care. That care will come from Dr. Williams and his team of experts which includes a provider and an ultrasonographer on the first visit.

STEP 2: Ultrasound

Do you hate leaving a doctor’s office to go get x-rays, labs, or other burdensome imaging?

You won’t do that at El Paso Vein Doc.

We do onsite ultrasound and diagnostics to ensure you waste as little time as possible. You will get same-day results from one of Dr. William’s providers.

STEP 3: Treatment Plan

We guarantee that you will leave with a great treatment plan.

There are many different options such as Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT), sclerotherapy, micro foam sclerotherapy, pneumatic compression, and more.

We will ensure that you get the perfect customized treatment based on your needs and goals. Don’t suffer from leg problems any longer.

Our Treatments

before / after

Endovenous Laser Therapy (EVLT)

The VenaCure EVLT procedure is minimally-invasive and can be performed in a doctor’s office. It addresses both the cosmetic and medical issues associated with varicose veins.

  • A laser light emitted through a thin fiber inserted into the damaged vein delivers just a small amount of energy, causing the malfunctioning vein to close and seal shut.
  • Veins that are treatable with the VenaCure EVLT system are superficial veins. Laser therapy with the VenaCure EVLT system is indicated for varicose veins and varicosities with superficial reflux of the Greater Saphenous Vein, and in the treatment of incompetent refluxing veins in the superficial venous system in the lower limb.
  • After the VenaCure EVLT procedure, your body will naturally route blood flow to other veins.
  • Bulging and pain in the damaged and now-sealed vein will subside after the procedure.

Because VenaCure EVLT vein treatment eliminates varicose veins where they start, the results can be obvious right away.

Micro Foam Sclerotherapy

An injectable foam that is used in treating varicose veins and larger diseased veins that worsen circulation.
The foam is injected under ultrasound guidance in an outpatient setting.
The treatment does not require any incisions and usually takes less than 30 minutes to administer. Patients may resume most activities same day and heavy exercise after 1 week.

Compounded Sclerotherapy

Compounded Sclerotherapy is a generic injectable foam that is administered to varicose veins with or without ultrasound guidance.
This is often the treatment of choice for small varicose veins and spider veins.
Sclerotherapy causes the vein to scar down and forces blood to reroute to healthier veins.
The collapsed vein is reabsorbed into the local tissue and eventually fades away. Sclerotherapy is often used at the end of a treatment plan for venous reflux disease.

Treatment Faqs

Venous reflux disease – which leads to Leg or ankle swelling, Leg Pain and Aching, Leg Cramps, Restless leg, Leg heaviness or fatigue, Burning or Itching skin, Skin Changes or Rash

Venous reflux disease is a progressive medical condition that if left untreated, will likely worsen over time and develop into a more serious form of venous disease called chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). CVI leads to more serious outcomes such as poor healing wounds, permanent skin damage, and an increased risk of deep blood clot.

  • The procedure takes about 20-40 minutes.
  • The procedure is almost always a permanent fix for the diseased veins being treated.
  • The number of treatments needed depends on the severity and number of veins that are diseased.
  • Patients get relief/improvement of symptoms after 2 days
  • This is a permanent fix to diseased refluxing veins in the legs
  • Proven long term results with positive patient outcomes and experience
  • Rapid recovery with patients resuming normal activities within a few days
  • Patients get relief/improvement of symptoms after just a few days
  • Varithena is non-surgical and is often the quickest procedure
  • Absolutely no incision and results are much better than traditional sclerotherapy
  • The recovery time is very minimal, and some people have no personal restrictions
